Poppy Montgomery, not only emotes on "Without a Trace," she'll be popping up on CBS in the new TV flick, "Raising Waylon," airing on Feb. 22. Montgomery and Thomas Gibson ("Dharma & Greg") play a couple who unexpectedly become the parents of a 9-year-old - a life-jumbling event if there ever was one.
Montgomery tells me she was a stubborn kid when she was young. "I was rebellious, very independent and very single-minded. I wanted what I wanted when I wanted it," she says.
"I didn't want school and dropped out when I was 14 and 9 months (when it's legal in her native Australia). I moved out of my home when I was 16, but I was very close with my parents, but I wanted to live by myself. So instead of threatening me they supported me, which was smart because I didn't rebel. I went and got a job and took care of myself."
